St. John’s Church School Report Spring 2004
With spring already just around the corner, the church school program has been keeping active.
On Sunday, March 7, the 2nd annual Godparents Day was held. The morning commenced with a most interesting talk by the Rt. Reverend Stephan Semotiuk on the “Role of a Godparent”. It was a reminder to all present of how important a godparent can and should be in their godchild’s life. Following this lecture, the church school children welcomed their godparents to their classes for a variety of activities. Everyone then proceeded to church to participate in the Divine Liturgy. After the service a fellowship luncheon was enjoyed by all.
